Learners Share Anxieties That AI Is Eroding Their Academic Capabilities, Study Reveals

Based on new research, pupils are expressing fears that employing artificial intelligence is eroding their capacity to learn. A significant number complain it renders schoolwork “overly simple”, while others argue it limits their creativity and prevents them from developing additional competencies.

A study examining the use of artificial intelligence in UK educational institutions found that just 2% of pupils between the ages of 13 and 18 reported they did not use AI for their academic tasks, while the vast majority indicated they frequently employed it.
